9:15-10:00 Session 1 - Megan Fuller, Digital Notebooking
I will cover how to create a digital notebook (specifically in science) in Pages and Keynote. I will show various tools to help each person get started. I will show multiple finished products in Keynote and Pages of digital notebooks that I have made. I hope to help everyone overcome the fear of making a digital notebook by providing a template on pages and keynote for each person.
10:15-11:00 Session 2 - Victoria Johnston, You want a brain-busting experience? Come Escape the Room!
Escape the Room is all about using your reading skills and time management. This is geared towards ELAR but anyone can create one. You will learn how to create an escape the room for all your students' needs. The ones that I have created are for Reading STAAR practice with prizes for escapees. Escape the Room uses iPads and this can be individual or in groups.
1:15-2:00 Session 3- Brooke Garth, It All Starts With Relationships
Target Audience: Anyone who works in education. This session will provide ideas, tips, and strategies for building positive, longterm, and appropriate relationships with students, families, colleagues, and other staff and community members in order to create the best possible foundation for student learning and success in the classroom and beyond.
2:15-3:00 Session 4- Kerry Johnston, Clips - Non-discriminating
We want to show that Clips can be used in elementary regular education classrooms as well as intervention classrooms as informal assessments, checks for understanding, and so much more.
